Membership Benefits

  • All Members will receive blessings of Yoga Gurus and Acharyas at IYA Events
  • Patron will be given a Certificate of Life Membership
  • Patron will be eligible for 50% tax exemption on taxable income with the exception for onetime Life Membership fees.
  • Patrons will be involved in State Chapter Committee meetings in advisory role.
  • All Members will get Membership Certificate, Unique IDs and ID Cards
  • All Members are eligible to be nominated as Members of the nominated State Chapters

  • TEN select nominated EYPs, LMs, YPMs and YVMs will have voting rights in General Body meetings of the Association
  • All YPMs will be eligible to participate are eligible for IYA Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), Continuing Education for Yoga Professionals (CEYP) program, Continuous Yoga Chikitsa Learning and Education (CYCLE) and other programs that are floated by IYA.
  • All qualified LMs and YPMs will be eligible to participate in the upcoming Continuing Education for Yoga Professionals (CEYP) program
  • All LMs who into treating participants administering Yoga Therapy at least 10 years may apply to be certified as IYA Yoga Chikitsa Acharya.
  • All YPMs who into treating participants administering Yoga Therapy may apply to be certified Yoga Chikitsaka (Yoga Therapist) and Yoga Chikitsa Sahayaka (Assistant Yoga Therapist).
  • All Members are eligible for discounts on publications of the member institutions as per agreement with the member institution.
  • All Members are eligible for discounts at events of the member institutions as per the agreement with the member institution.
  • Select Members will be nominated for the representation from IYA at various governmental and nongovernmental for at the National / State level.
  • Eligible Members will be recommended for various openings as resource persons including Master Trainers / Assessors under MSDE, IGNOU, NIOS, IYA Academic, Accreditation, Publication and Research Activities, IYA Empaneled Trainers
  • All YPMs and LMs are eligible for own Medallion from the Ministry, Government of India
